Following the success of the flagship 6Sense, what motivated Knya to introduce the 6Sense Lite, and how does it complement your existing product portfolio?
Medicos loved the 6Sense for its precision. With the 6Sense Lite, we wanted to make the same trusted quality within reach at a reasonable price, supporting doctors through long rounds while reflecting their individuality. Our goal is to build tools that go beyond function, that truly resonate with the people who use them, and to work hand in hand with healthcare professionals by keeping accessibility at the heart of innovation.
The 6Sense Lite is positioned as a more affordable and versatile stethoscope. How did Knya balance accessibility, durability, and performance in its design?
We wanted to ensure that the 6Sense Lite truly balanced accessibility, durability, and performance. We achieved this by choosing affordable yet robust materials like latex-free, durable PVC tubing and an anodised finish on the chestpiece. We incorporated innovative features such as a dual-head chestpiece and dual-lumen tubing to enhance sound clarity, while also focusing on comfort with soft-sealing ear tips and a lightweight, ergonomic frame for extended use. The result is a high-quality, high-performance tool, making it easier for more healthcare professionals to benefit from it.
Doctors often face long, demanding rounds. In what specific ways does the 6Sense Lite address the everyday comfort and usability needs of healthcare professionals?
We designed it to be exceptionally lightweight to reduce fatigue, and we added soft-sealing ear tips so it stays comfortable even after hours of continuous use. At the same time, we made sure it delivers clear, sharp acoustics, because accuracy in diagnosis should never be compromised. With its durable build, 6Sense Lite makes premium performance accessible to both senior doctors and medical students who are just starting their journey. This product is about making everyday practice easier, more comfortable, and more reliable for every healthcare professional.

The launch version of the 6Sense Lite is available in black. Do you plan to introduce additional colours or customizable options, given Knya's emphasis on individuality and personal expression for doctors?
Yes, absolutely. While the launch version of the 6Sense Lite is available in classic black, more colours and customizable options are already in the works. Doctors deserve the same freedom of individuality and personal expression in their professional tools as they do in other aspects of life, so more variety can be expected in the near future.
