Bausch Health and its aesthetics business Solta Medical have launched the Fraxel FTX skin resurfacing platform in Australia, expanding access to the latest generation of Fraxel technology for healthcare practitioners.
Available from 1 September 2026, Fraxel FTX builds on more than two decades of development around fractional skin resurfacing and has been designed to support greater treatment precision, workflow efficiency and patient comfort.
The platform represents the latest evolution of Solta Medical’s Fraxel portfolio, which uses fractional laser technology to treat selected areas of skin while leaving surrounding tissue intact.
This approach is intended to support the skin’s natural healing response while allowing physicians to target concerns including pigmentation, skin texture and signs of ageing.

Fractional laser resurfacing has become an established part of aesthetic dermatology, with technology developers increasingly focusing on improving usability, treatment consistency and the patient experience alongside clinical performance.
Solta Medical develops a portfolio of energy-based aesthetic technologies spanning skin resurfacing, body contouring and other non- or minimally invasive aesthetic procedures.
