CliniComp has received U.S. FDA 510(k) clearance for its PACS Viewer as a Medical Image Management and Processing System, expanding its New Era EHR with Native AI Solution Suite.
The clearance allows diagnostic-quality image viewing and advanced image processing directly within CliniComp’s enterprise EHR platform. This is relevant because imaging workflows often require clinicians to move between separate PACS and EHR systems, which can slow clinical review and create workflow fragmentation.
By integrating PACS viewing into the patient chart, CliniComp is positioning the system as a way to unify diagnostic imaging, clinical data and AI-supported workflows within one longitudinal patient record. Physicians can view, manipulate and analyse diagnostic images alongside relevant patient history, laboratory results, medications and vital signs.
The development reflects a broader shift in hospital technology from standalone imaging systems toward integrated enterprise platforms. For clinicians, the value lies in reducing context switching and improving access to information at the point of care.
The platform’s Native AI capabilities are intended to correlate imaging studies with clinical data and support prioritisation of high-acuity cases. This could be useful in busy hospital environments where imaging volumes, emergency triage needs and documentation demands continue to rise.
CliniComp’s differentiating features include diagnostic-quality image viewing inside the EHR, unified clinical context, embedded AI-supported documentation and workflow automation, and intelligent prioritisation using real-time patient information.
