IHH Healthcare and Prudential expand day surgery access through Mount Elizabeth Royal Square

Mount Elizabeth Royal Square has joined Prudential Singapore’s PRUPanel Connect network, giving eligible policyholders more options for specialist day surgery and endoscopy care.

IHH Healthcare Singapore and Prudential Singapore have expanded access to day surgery and endoscopy care through the addition of Mount Elizabeth Royal Square to Prudential’s PRUPanel Connect network.

The private day surgery centre joined the network with effect from 1 August 2026 and is the first IHH Healthcare Singapore facility to be included in PRUPanel Connect.

Eligible PRUShield Integrated Shield plan policyholders with selected PRUExtra riders can now seek treatment at Mount Elizabeth Royal Square with participating specialists while accessing panel benefits.

Dr Peter Chow, Chief Executive Officer of IHH Healthcare Singapore, said the partnership is intended to give patients greater choice and convenience when accessing private day surgery and endoscopy services.

“We are pleased to partner Prudential to bring Mount Elizabeth Royal Square into the PRUPanel Connect network. This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to improving access to quality private healthcare, while giving eligible patients greater assurance and convenience when they require day surgery or endoscopy care.”

Chan San San, Chief Executive Officer of Prudential Singapore, said the addition expands the insurer’s specialist panel network.

“At Prudential, we want to make it easier for customers to navigate their healthcare journey with confidence. By adding Mount Elizabeth Royal Square to PRUPanel Connect, we are strengthening our panel ecosystem and giving PRUShield Extra customers more options for specialist day surgery care, supported by the benefits and assurance of our panel network.”

Opened in 2025, Mount Elizabeth Royal Square provides day surgery and endoscopy services with hospital-equivalent safety standards.

The centre also offers bedside ultrasound services, dedicated procedure slots and a patient lounge, and is located next to Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital.

Through PRUPanel Connect, eligible Prudential policyholders can access value-added services when receiving treatment from participating specialists at panel institutions.

These benefits include cashless admission through an electronic Letter of Guarantee of up to S$15,000, subject to eligibility, as well as stable renewable premiums for panel-approved claims.

The partnership reflects a broader shift towards delivering suitable procedures outside acute hospital settings while maintaining access to specialist care and coordinated healthcare financing.
