The event leverages Hong Kong’s strategic role as Asia’s hub for healthcare innovation and investment, fostering innovation, investment, and industry exchange.

The two flagship events of IHW are the 6th Asia Summit on Global Health (ASGH) jointly organised by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) and the HKTDC, and the 17^th Hong Kong International Medical and Healthcare Fair (Medical Fair) organised by the HKTDC. The two events encompass both upstream and downstream healthcare industries, from technology research and development, investment matching and medical device manufacturing, to medical products and services. Together they form a comprehensive one-stop platform to create synergies for medical and healthcare industry professionals.

Asia Summit on Global Health

Since its launch in 2021, the Asia Summit on Global Health (ASGH) has become the premier annual event for the healthcare industry. The 2026 edition, themed “Fuelling Healthcare Breakthroughs”, will bring together senior government officials, influential business leaders, investors, service providers, and world-renowned researchers and academia. Through high-level plenary and thematic sessions, participants will explore the latest frontiers in healthcare innovation and investment. The programme will cover key topics ranging from the next frontier in China’s healthcare industry and advances in Chinese medicine, to Silver Health and smart ageing innovations, medical AI and robotics, gene and cell therapies, and many more.

Over 170 exhibitors and start-ups will showcase cutting-edge technologies and solutions in the dedicated exhibition zone. The ASGH Business Hub will gather leading healthcare institutions from Hong Kong and overseas to showcase innovative solutions and foster cross-border collaboration. Global investors will have the opportunity to engage directly with promising healthcare start-ups at the InnoHealth Showcase, unlocking new investment and partnership opportunities.

ASGH also serves as a powerful platform where healthcare enterprises and global capital converge to turn innovation into investment. Through ASGH Deal-making, project owners can connect face-to-face with investors to explore strategic partnerships and unlock new growth potential.

Hong Kong International Medical and Healthcare Fair

The HKTDC Hong Kong International Medical and Healthcare Fair brings together medical professionals, industry leaders, and innovators from around the world to showcase the latest medical technologies, products, and services. It provides an ideal platform for industry participants to gain insights into the latest developments in the healthcare sector and to build strong connections within the industry. This year’s fair features around 300 exhibitors from 10 countries and regions, under the theme ‘Innovations Boosting Smart Health Experience’ with multiple exhibition zones including STARTUP Zone, Hospital Equipment and Digital Health, Biotech and Lab Diagnostics, Laboratory Technologies and Healthcare Services, Rehabilitation and Elderly Care, Medical Supplies and Disposables, World of Health and Wellness.

This year’s exhibition focuses on three major areas: ‘MedTech,’ ‘GeronTech,’ and ‘Preventive Healthcare’ showcasing the latest medical and healthcare devices, products, and application solutions. During the fair, over 50 themed seminars and forums will be held, offering international buyers opportunities to explore cutting-edge medical technologies and equipment, wellness and beauty products, elderly care innovations, and healthcare solutions, while gaining insights into the latest industry trends through a rich program of events.

In 2025, the fair attracted more than 14,000 buyers from 57 countries and regions, and facilitated over 660 business matching meetings to foster collaboration between exhibitors and buyers.
