Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China Ltd. (Ping An Group) has upgraded its Ping An Health Longevity Management Service System, combining medicine, artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced technologies to provide proactive, full-cycle health and longevity management.
The upgraded system was unveiled at a service upgrade press conference themed “Professionalism Safeguards a Century of Wellbeing.” As part of the initiative, Ping An Healthcare and Technology Company Limited, also known as Ping An Good Doctor, announced the establishment of the Longevity Management Ecosystem Alliance and unveiled 11 Ping An Health Longevity Centers across China.
The upgraded service system is designed around risk prevention and proactive intervention, supporting a shift from traditional reactive healthcare towards preventive and personalised health management.
According to He Mingke, CEO of Ping An Good Doctor, the system focuses on two core areas: safeguarding baseline health and delivering specialised proactive health interventions. It establishes four lines of defence comprising comprehensive preventive screening, 24/7 emergency response, end-to-end medical assistance and full-cycle multi-disease management.
The system also provides interventions across behavioural, physical and mental health, covering areas including chronic disease management, lifestyle improvement, metabolic health, physical function maintenance and brain health.
Ping An Good Doctor also showcased its new Ping An Smart Private Coach, a digital health management service based on an “AI + Human” model.
The service combines dedicated human fitness coaches with AI coaches to support personalised exercise and health management. Its approach follows an “assessment – training – consolidation” process designed to provide ongoing guidance based on individual health and fitness needs.
The platform is powered by Ping An Good Doctor’s proprietary DeepBody engine, which can capture full-body skeletal key points to provide real-time movement guidance. The service is compatible with smartphones, tablets and televisions, enabling users to access personalised coaching across multiple devices.
The 11 newly unveiled Ping An Health Longevity Centers are based on Ping An Health’s 11 self-operated medical institutions. The centres integrate multidisciplinary capabilities spanning precision medicine, nutrition, traditional Chinese medicine, sleep medicine and psychosomatic medicine.
Ping An said the centres are designed to create a full-life-cycle health management model that combines medical services with proactive health interventions.
Meanwhile, Ping An Good Doctor’s Longevity Management Ecosystem Alliance has brought together an initial group of 46 industry partners. The company plans to work with these partners to develop industry standards, integrate healthcare and wellness resources, enhance user experiences and support the sustainable development of the longevity management sector.
Through the upgraded system, Ping An Group aims to combine medical expertise with AI and advanced technologies to strengthen preventive healthcare, personalised health management and long-term wellbeing.
