MedTech Innovator Asia Pacific also highlighted MedTech Spotlight Singapore, co-organised with BLOCK71 Singapore, which brought together 30 startups for a pitch event focused on medtech and healthcare innovations from across the region.

With 70% of participating startups flying into Singapore to pitch in person, the event reflected the momentum behind APAC’s medtech innovation ecosystem and the continued value of face-to-face engagement with judges, partners, investors and industry leaders.

The programme featured startup pitch sessions, a market discovery tour, and a public conference, offering participating companies multiple opportunities to present, learn, and engage with Singapore’s medtech ecosystem.

Across the pitch sessions, startups gained visibility, practical feedback and guidance from experienced judges.

As part of the market discovery tour, startups visited SingHealth and A.L.I.C.E., followed by Co11ab and NHG. The tour also included a panel discussion with Shikharesh Das from Ontogenix and Srikant Lal from regional medtech distributor IDS Medical Systems, as well as networking with healthcare and industry stakeholders.

The public conference featured two focused discussions. The investor panel, “What Gets Funded Now”, featured Anand Govindaluri from Govin Capital, Colin Tan from Coronet Ventures, and Dexter Tiah from NUS Enterprise, exploring what makes APAC medtech startups investable in a more selective funding environment.

The alumni panel, “Global Growth Playbook”, featured Elson Yong from CareCam, Ivan Toh from QuantumTx, and Arun Sethuraman from Crely Inc, sharing founder perspectives on entering new healthcare markets, building partnerships, navigating regulatory pathways, and scaling internationally.

The event concluded with a networking reception, bringing together startups, judges, speakers, partners, and ecosystem leaders for continued conversations and new connections.

The next phase of the programme includes the Innovator Summit in San Francisco, the Virtual Accelerator Program, and the 2026 Showcase & Grand Finals on 26 October 2026.
