The event brings together more than 3,000 visitors, over 140 senior speakers from 18 countries and exhibitors across digital health, healthtech and medtech.

Smart Health Asia has opened in Singapore as a new international platform for healthcare innovation, bringing together healthcare providers, policymakers, C-suite health leaders, research institutions, innovation centres, investors, payers and innovators from across Asia Pacific.

The inaugural event is taking place on 1 and 2 July at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre. It is expected to welcome more than 3,000 visitors, including over 300 decision-makers from leading hospitals across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Australia, Thailand, South Korea, Japan, India, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Myanmar and Vietnam.

The conference will feature more than 140 senior speakers from 18 countries across more than 80 sessions, convening healthcare C-suite leaders, policymakers, clinicians, digital health experts and industry innovators to explore healthcare transformation.

Notable speakers include Colin Lim, CIO & Group Director, Infocomm Technology and Data Group, Ministry of Health, Singapore; Dr Lee Chien-Chang, CIO, Taiwan Ministry of Health and Welfare; and Dr Maheshwara Rao Appannan, Director, Digital Health Division, Ministry of Health, Malaysia.

The Smart Health Asia exhibition will showcase digital health, healthtech and medtech solutions, covering AI and predictive analytics, remote patient monitoring, medtech devices, electronic health records, telehealth platforms and system integration solutions.

Leading sponsors and exhibitors include title sponsors Oracle Health and Singtel, as well as gold sponsors including Becton Dickinson, GE Healthcare, InterSystems, Roche Diagnostics Asia Pacific and Solventum.

Mario Tobias, CEO of Messe Berlin, said the launch marks an important milestone as Asia becomes one of the most important regions for healthcare innovation worldwide.

“Whether it is artificial intelligence in diagnostics, digital health platforms, precision medicine, smart hospitals, or data-driven patient care, Asia is setting new benchmarks for healthcare transformation. At the same time, Smart Health Asia is closely connected to our activities in Europe. In Berlin, we recently hosted bio:cap 2027; we will launch Smart Health Europe to bring together healthcare leaders from across the continent,” he said.

Kym Chua, Executive Director, Messe Berlin Asia Pacific, said Asia-Pacific is one of the fastest-growing healthcare markets globally.

“As healthcare systems across Asia navigate growing demands and rapid technological change, Smart Health Asia provides a dedicated platform for industry leaders to connect, share best practices, and explore innovations that will shape the future of healthcare. Our goal is to foster meaningful collaboration that drives better health outcomes and a more future-ready healthcare ecosystem across the region,” she said.

Smart Health Asia will expand in 2027 with the introduction of Smart Pharma Asia as a new dedicated exhibition zone to connect pharmaceutical innovation with digital health, healthtech and medtech. The organisers said the new zone will support deeper collaboration across pharma, providers and technology leaders to accelerate integrated healthcare transformation.

The event also marks the launch of an international series. Smart Health Europe is expected to debut in Berlin in 2027 as a platform for digital health, medical technology, AI, prevention and healthcare innovation.
